039 STBS: Simple Ideas You Can Use Right Now to Start Your Own Side Business

A special thanks to Harry Mahler for emailing me and kicking me in the butt.  Yes, will be more consistent with this podcast! 🙂

Whenever I talk to someone about starting a business, almost 99% of the time the first words that come out of their mouth is something about how they don't know what type of business to start.

That's OK, everyone feels that way.  A good thing is that it's a lot easier than most people think to find ideas that they can use to make money on the side.

In this episode I want to give you some quick tips that you can use right now to get started.

We'll talk about:

  • Creating a service business
  • Creating a product business
  • Becoming a middleman
  • Become a consultant
  • And much, much more…

Of course, these ideas are only meant to be the spark that hopes to build a fire that is your new business.  Yes, it's gonna take time and work, but not nearly as much you think.

In future episodes will talk about how to market your business, and also how to streamline and so that you don't have to spend so much time in it.

Dean, the audio sounded great. I just sent this site to a friend of mine who has been working on a new business venture.

    Hey Dean,
There are so many ways to start a business online and create multiple ways to earn income. It’s takes some courage and know how but it can certainly be done.

This year I want to create some more personal products and services for my site.

      Hey Justin,

Thanks for the comment, my friend!

Totally, you hit the nail right on the head. All that matters is having the courage to take the risk. Creating something in putting it out for someone to buy is an amazingly vulnerable experience and sometimes painful. This is especially true if they don’t like your product and demand refunds and get mad at you.

But it’s all worth the risk…

Awesome! You can totally create products and services on your website, it looks great and has a lot of energy. Good luck, and let me know how it goes!
